More Than Just Friendly Faces...

Dr. Sara Zach is a graduated of Northwestern Health Sciences University where she received her Doctorate of Chiropractic along with her Bachelors of Human Sciences.  Dr. Sara Zach has been in practice since 2004 and is the owner/operator of A Healthy Perspective chiropractic clinic in Wauwatosa, WI.  Dr. Sara Zach also works with many athletes in the area and is sought after during the Tour of America's Dairyland and International Cycling Classic, when cyclists from across the country and from overseas come to Milwaukee.

Dr. Sara is the proud parent of a five year old German Shepherd, Tasha, and has made the dog park an almost daily ritual. In the warmer months, Dr. Sara spends a lot of time gardening and cycling with the Belladonnas. Dr. Sara's true passion is eating...experiencing flavors, textures, and color. This is why she is a girl always in motion.

“Dr. Rich” Protasiewicz, Jr., a native of Milwaukee, is a graduate of Northwestern College of Chiropractic where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 1994.  Dr. Rich's first experiences in practice were unique for a chiropractor, because he worked in a medical facility-the Wisconsin Health Fund Medical Center-where he was the primary chiropractor for 8 ½ years and the Chiropractic Department Director for 3 years.  During his time at the medical center, Dr. Rich was regarded as the premiere chiropractor who went the extra mile to help his patients.

Because of his desire to deliver the best care, Dr. Rich began his quest over 9 years ago to develop new protocols that would allow chiropractors to better help their patients. Today, Dr. Rich utilizes his hands on assessment protocols to care for his patients. Also, he applies a therapeutic taping technique he developed while testing his protocols at the medical center.  Dr. Rich's other clinical passions include working with athletes, especially competitive cyclists, in the form of coaching, bike ergonomics, and eating programs. In addition, Dr. Rich is very involved with patient education with regards to nutrition and eating habits. His first book on nutritional eating habits is due out in January 2010.

In his “spare time,” Dr. Rich enjoys all athletics but especially finds enjoyment with competitive cycling. After a 9 year hiatus, he launched a comeback to top level amateur cycling, only to learn that top level comebacks take time.  This year he plans to focus on his training and keep his goals sharp yet realistic. Now that is a healthy perspective.
